As a small tree surgery company and carbon emissions at a all time high we have taken a small step in the right direction to start reducing our carbon footprint.
Going Electric
We all know despite the high volumes in road traffic, there are other machines that produce a lot of co2 gases such as hedge cutting equipment.
This is why we have recently purchased two Stihl battery powered hedge cutters in the hope to reduce our carbon emissions and the health of our operators and others which are around them.
Noise pollution
I recently tried these products out on my own hedge in my garden and was surprised to hear that these machines were so quiet and had no complaints from my neighbours even though it was quite late in the evening.
So overall, I’m very pleased that we have taken the right step to lowering our carbon footprint and that these machines will look after our operators and our environment while still producing the high quality work that we aim to achieve.
